Inferno Hot Pilates
We are pleased to announce Hot Yoga Cowichan Valley is the first to offer Inferno Hot Pilates on Vancouver Island!!
Inferno Hot Pilates class times are Mondays at 4:30 pm and Wednesdays at 6 PM.
Classes are 60 minutes and set to music. The class will be heated but at a lower heat that our Hot Yoga Classes.
What is it?!
Inferno Hot Pilates is a training system created by Gabriella Walters which combines Pilates principles with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. It is an intense, full body workout designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health. IHP creates long lean muscle mass, burns fat, and increases fitness levels. It creates a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. It is performed on a yoga mat making it zero impact, therefore protecting your joints and muscles from the pounding of other exercises like running and jumping. IHP combines cardio and muscle toning. The High Intensity Interval Training keeps your heart rate up, helping you burn fat. The Pilates principles scult your body. The heat loosens up the muscles and the humidity makes you sweat - elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting more fat burn. See you in class!
